FRIDA BARFOD is a Copenhagen-based artist who specializes in sculptural hats, showpieces, costumes, scenography and textiles. Educated from the Royal Danish Theater, department for hats and flowers in 2018. And educated from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, department for Fashion Design in 2015.
I do my designs as well as freelance work and projects in collaboration with other designers.

Til showet viste hun to hatte i blå og hvid med kæmpe skygger og med kant i fjer og garn, der skabte en dynamisk bevægelse ned ad catwalken for hvert skridt modellen tog. Det var tydeligt at se, at Frida Barfod både er uddannet fra det Kongelige Teaters hatteafdeling og fra KADKs modelinje. Hattene var en perfekt blanding mellem det teatralske og det moderigtige, og man kunne sagtens se dem på en catwalk under en modeuge.”
